Cottage cheese

“In addition, it is a great source of protein – it gives you nearly 50 per cent of the daily recommended protein intake.”

Whipped cream cheese

“This is a low calorie alternative to regular cheeses as a tablespoon of whipped cream cheese has only 30 calories and just two and half grams of fat.

“It’s a great alternative low calorie killing to add to sandwiches or crackers.

Mozzarella

“Compared to regular full fat cheeses mozzarella is not only low in calories but also contains protein, which will help fill you up between meals and stop you from continually grazing through out the day.”

Other cheeses are on the bad end of the high-fat, high sodium spectrum.
