Want to reduce your food intake? This PLATE claims to absorb excess calories [bestandroiddoubledinheadunit950.blogspot.com]

Some cut carbs, some stick to ‘natural’ foods and others opt for fasting dietary regimes.

Whichever way you try to approach it, reducing your calorie intake requires a lot of determination and willpower.

Many people are willing to go to extremes in a bid to control their appetite, from gastric ban surgery to a diet based on coffee consumption.

But there may an easier – and far less invasive – way to curb unwanted calories. And it starts with your plate.

A very clever bit of crockery claims to soak up excess calories from your food.

The AbsorbPlate absorbs the grease and oil which seeps out of the meal you put on your plate.

Reportedly, the impressive invention is capable of absorbing up to 7ml of oil, which equates to 30 calories per plate.

While 30 calories may not sound significant, it certainly adds up with each meal.

The ingenious creation is the work of BBDO Bangkok and the Thai government health board, who designed it to combat rates of obesity in Thailand.

Featuring 500 tiny holes in its base, the AbsorbPlate essentially functions like a sponge.

Of course, it doesn’t have a miraculous ability to make an unhealthy meal a health one, but the grease is certainly better in your plate than on your fork.

The creation is still in its concept stages, and the exact launch date for the AbsorbPlate remains to be decided.

However many of the health-conscious may be looking forward to the release.

The news comes as resourceful beauty experts shared their unexpected at-home hacks for a finance-friendly regime.

Among then is an all-natural cinnamon remedy to create fuller looking lips.

Let’s block ads! (Why?)
