Apple cider vinegar is a drink found to have multiple health benefits in scientific studies.

One of these is weight loss, something many Britons would like to achieve.

Apple cider vinegar is made from fermenting apples.

But what is the correct amount of the drink to take to shed the pounds?

How much apple cider vinegar should you drink?

One study found that two tablespoons each day can help dieters lose weight.

In fact, those taking the drink alongside watching what they eat can lose double what those who don’t take the drink do.

A study of overweight or obese subjects found those taking the drink lost double the amount of weight over a three month period.

Scientists found the drink helped to reduced the appetite, decrease weight and cause dieters to lose inches.

Another study found 15 or 30 ml (one or two tablespoons) of apple cider vinegar daily for three months helped overweight adults lose an average of 2.6 and 3.7 pounds.

Sally Morgan’s weight loss has seen the Celebrity Big Brother star lose 16.5 stone. 

Her weight-loss method wasn’t the usual one taken by many dieters, with Sally opting to use one drastic method.

The medium decided she needed to lose the weight when doctors told her she would suffer a heart attack and potentially lose her life if she didn’t get in shape urgently.

Earlier in the year, Sally appeared on talk show Loose Women to discuss her weight loss, revealing: “I had a little heart scare, so basically it was either lose weight or don’t be here really.”

Sally revealed that she underwent gastric bypass surgery, a surgery where the stomach is made smaller by inserting staples.
