Having once sported a much slimmer figure, The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star gained as much as 100 pounds, according to some reports, and vowed to make 2016 a healthy year.
In April he shared a post on social media which read: “Looking from where I started 298 lbs to my current weight now (248.4 lbs).
“I’m focused and determined to reach my goal weight 200-205 lbs…happy I found my motivation.”
He credits his fitness motivation to his now ex and the mother of his baby Blac Chyna.
Back in March, Chyna gave fans a look at what the couple’s healthy date night meals looked like – including a roast chicken over steamed carrots as well as asparagus with olive oil and garlic.
According to TMZ in February, the 28-year-old was also going to the gym five times a week in a bid to shrink down.
Blac Chyna, 27, is thought to have been a good influence on the reality TV star, who was rushed to hospital in December after being diagnosed with diabetes.
The health scare was a wake-up call for the younger brother of Kim, Courtney and Khloe Kardashian, who was said to have diabetic ketoacidosis – a serious complication of diabetes that occurs when someone’s body produces high levels of blood acids, or ketones.
In May, Rob posted a before and after photo of himself that showcased his weight loss success on social media.
“Still got a lot of work to do and weight to lose but glad I’m getting better,” he captioned the picture.
And having a baby didn’t deter Rob and Blac Chyna from their weight loss goals.
Blac Chyna hit headlines just two weeks after giving birth to daughter Dream after flaunting a slimmer waist and flat stomach on Snapchat.
