Jamie Oliver, 42, also known as the Naked Chef, is a British celebrity chef who has regular television appearances.

Tonight he will appear on Jamie’s Quick & Easy Food to talk about stress-free recipes which can be prepared in a short amount of time.

But what about Jamie’s own relationship with his diet? Jamie, who is 5ft 10 in, has undergone a noticeable weight loss in recent years.

He was self proclaimedly “chunky” when he entered his 30s, but slimmed down – dropping three stone in two months, he told This Morning.

So how did Jamie lose the weight? He revealed that seaweed, a Japanese delicacy, helped him slim down.

“I thought seaweed was hippy, globetrotting stuff but our ancestors ate seaweed,” he told Mail Online.

“It has got a load of iodine and is the most nutritious vegetable in the world.”

He also expanded on his weight loss journey to This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

He said: “’I lost 12 kilos quite quickly and I didn’t do it through not eating.

“I ate a lot, more than I was used to. I pushed meat down, pushed veggie up, got more sleep and more movement.”

He also praised the benefits of eating plenty of healthy fish and vegetables to fill you up.

Finally, he said having a healthy diet “doesn’t have to be complicated’.

However, it’s not all been plain sailing for Jamie’s diet.

He admitted to The Mirror last month that he is technically “overweight” and had hired a personal trainer to help him lose weight.

He said: ”I will get rid of it in the next couple of months.

“I was always active as a kid and in pretty good nick until maybe the beginning of my 30s. And then I started to get just a little bit too chunky.”

Another example of a famous chef who has lost weight is Antony Worrall Thompson’s weight loss.

Antony is a British chef best known for his appearances on Ready Steady Cook and Saturday Kitchen.

Antony has achieved an impressive weight loss of over a stone in recent years, which can be seen in before and after pictures.

He looks a lot slimmer compared to when he first appeared in the public eye.

Antony’s slimming down journey began after a “borderline diabetes” diagnosis encouraged him to lose weight.

He is said to have achieved a weight loss of over one stone, slimming down from 15 stone to 13 stone 10lb.
