Tom Watson weight loss: Labour MP and Corbyn right hand man shows off new look on Sky News [bestandroiddoubledinheadunit950.blogspot.com]

Tom Watson, 51, showed off his weight loss on Sky News today.

The Labour MP has lost four stone and 11 pounds in under a year.

Today he was on the news programme to speak about gambling in the UK.

The MP was commenting on the rules that will cut betting machine stakes to £2.

The politician’s weight loss was clear to see to viewers.

But how has the left winger lost this huge amount of weight?

He appeared on Good Morning Britain in January after which Piers Morgan commented on his slimmer figure.

The TV presenter tweeted: ““BREAKING: Labour’s deputy leader @tom_watson just revealed to @GMB that he’s lost 67lbs since August. Amazing!”

Tom has been on a diet since last October.

He told readers of his newsletter: “Did I tell you I’m on a diet? I know you’re not supposed to call them that anymore, to be on message they have to be a ‘lifestyle change’.”

He revealed he had been using a “nudge theory” technique to held him shed the pounds.

He said: “Using rudimentary ‘nudge theory’ every time I reach a weight target, I treat myself to a gadget for the bike.

“It’s going well so I purchased a device for the handle bars that allows you to attach your iPhone this week.”

The technique is obviously paying off, as the MP looks much slimmer.

Mr Watson, who has been with his partner Stephanie Peacock since 2012, is the MP for West Bromwich East.

He is also Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.
